I have to give it a 5 for several reasons... I have been there on several occasions with friends and... my lonesome... And each time I was there, I always had a great experience. The sushi is a strong "good". Their list of special sushi rolls and sashimi are fairly good. I wouldn't use the term "excellent", but it's definitely worth visiting. At least, I always left feeling extremely content leaving after each meal. =)
it was attracting Asian and American clientele. With the local Urban Flats shut down for the time being, it fills a niche for better dining in the neighborhood, and it is far quieter than Bonefish. I like its chances, and wish this chain the best.
Overall, we thought Kampai was very, very good and would recommend it on the very short list of worthy restaurants in this area. Guten appetit!
I love how diverse their food is in both taste and presentation. I have been wanting to get better at food photography and decided to start with my favorite kinds of food. I went to Kampai the other night and had brought my camera along so I could shoot the meal....
